We arrived in Santiago the day before The Feast of St. James, the city was all geared up for a huge party. This years celebrations turned to grief because of a train crash just outside the city. The tragedy killed over 70 people and celebrations were cancelled as the city had three days of mourning.

The weather wasn't kind to us.
The Cathedral from Paseo de Ferradura
Carries pulled!

Caught in a thunderstorm just behind the Cathedral
