We stopped in Logrono, La Rioja, for one night and would really recommend it for a long weekend. There is great wine and food and its a interesting city to explore. We ate really well, check out Chorizo Burps to see us stuff our faces.
We also recommend staying Pension San Mateo, really good value and great location.
