Our next day trip from Nerja was to Torremolinos. It doesn't have the greatest reputation as a place to visit but it does have a fried fish day.
There are loads of stalls with barbecues set up ready to cook a lot of fish. We joined the queue which had the most pensioners in. We thought we might be in for something good.
We were on TV (not sure when or which channel)
We queued for about an hour before the cooking started.
Then the cooking started.
Almost ready.
So close we could taste it.
1 hour and a half for THIS!!!! (It was good though, the things you do on a budget)
Carrie chased the police on segways all day to get a photo.
We tried to get some Paella, you had to stick an arm out and beg for some.
They ran out of Paella. Only 20 minutes for these beauties.
She finally got him.
Nice beach.
Unfortunately it wasn't open.
